Wisconsin football ticket sales up year-over-year

Univ. of Wisconsin football had a 95% renewal rate of last season's season-ticket holders, and sales for this year also had a “net increase from the previous year for the first time since 2017,” according to Colten Bartholomew of the WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL. The influx of new buyers “equaled a net gain of 661 more season-ticket purchaser,” while season tickets in premium areas of Camp Randall Stadium are “also sold out.” Bartholomew notes single-game tickets are “available in the corporate hospitality area of the south end zone.” Wisconsin has sold “5,000 more single-game tickets as of Aug. 15 than last year,” which equates to an “increase of $800,000 in single-game ticket revenue year-over-year” (WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL, 8/21).
