Event Notes: IPC Alpine Skiing Announces 2017 World Championships Will Be Held In Italy

Int'l Paralympic Committee Alpine Skiing announced that its 2017 World Championships will take place in Tarvisio, Italy, from Jan. 22-31. More than 140 athletes from 30 countries are expected to gather in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region to compete in men's and women's sitting, standing and visually impaired across technical and speed events (IPC Alpine Skiing).

It was the third-most attended event in UFC history and set an all-time mark for attendance at the venue.
