Second Bundesliga side SC Freiburg "unveiled its new shirt sponsors during a press conference on Wednesday." Dairy company Schwarzwaldmilch "will become the team's new shirt sponsor starting in '16-17." The company will reportedly pay a little more than €3M ($3.4M) annually for the rights "should the club get promoted to the top-flight Bundesliga." MARKETING BRIEFS ...

Turkish top-tier football side Konyaspor announced autogas systems manufacturer Atiker as its "new title sponsor." The deal, which will run for five years, "will see the Super Lig club renamed Atiker Konyaspor" from the '16-17 season onward. The club is "currently involved in a major partnership with Turkish brand Torque, but that contract is due to expire at the end of the current season" (SOCCEREX, 4/26).

Walkers
