Spanish Football League To Present New Partnership With Mazda

Spanish Football League (LFP) President Javier Tebas and Mazda Spain President José María Terol will on Wednesday sign an agreement in which Mazda will become an official sponsor of La Liga. Under this agreement, which was reached in August, the Japanese brand will have a presence in stadiums, online platforms, social media and TV broadcasts (EP, 10/13). Current LFP title sponsor BBVA announced in September that "at the end of the current season it will no longer give its name to La Liga and the Spanish second division" (SBD Global).
