Formula E appointed SAM PICCIONE III as the championship’s new chief revenue officer. Piccione most recently worked for AEG Europe, where he was the Senior VP of sales (Formula E). ... Paddy Power has hired former O2 marketer SARAH DAVIES "as its director of marketing innovation." The move reunites Davies with Paddy Power CMO GAV THOMPSON, who "was formerly global director of business innovation at Telefonica." She "was previously heading up O2’s customer innovation team, before becoming head of new business innovation for Telefonica" (MARKETING MAGAZINE, 10/7). ... A-League side Melbourne City FC bolstered its off-field resources with former Adelaide United CEO MICHAEL PETRILLO as head of talent management. Sports physiotherapist ANDREW MCKENZIE joins the club as head of human performance. Both roles are new to Melbourne City FC’s Football Department and Petrillo and McKenzie commence effective immediately.  Petrillo will manage the recruiting, talent identification and talent management processes for Melbourne City’s five teams (Melbourne City). ... The Canadian Football League announced a list of staff changes and promotions at its head office. TYLER MAZEREEUW becomes VP of the newly formed corporate partnerships department, leading a group that is responsible for both sponsorship sales and account services. CHRISTINA LITZ takes on an expanded role as VP, Marketing & Content. She will now additionally be responsible for marketing and events. MATT MAYCHAK becomes VP, Communications & Public Affairs, in recognition of the role he has been playing in leading and advising the CFL’s media, government and public relations. KEVIN MCDONALD, VP of football operations, and GLEN JOHNSON, VP, officiating, continue in their roles. DAVID CUDDY continues his role as VP, finance & business operations (CFL). ... League One side Oldham Athletic has appointed DAVID DUNN as its new permanent manager following a spell as interim boss. Dunn was placed in charge of the side last month after DARREN KELLY was sacked. Dunn has overseen four games so far, with all of those matches ending in draws (MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS, 10/7). 

MEXICO CONFIRMS OSORIO: Brasileiro side São Paulo coach JUAN CARLOS OSORIO's club announced that he will "take the reins as the next full-time manager of Mexico's national team." Osorio has been "heavily rumored" in recent days and weeks to be taking the job after RICARDO FERRETTI's four-game interim stint ends next week (SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, 10/6).
