EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          GARY JACOBUS has left his position as Senior VP of
     IMG's Corporate Representation Division to become President
     of MA-based Trackus, which markets sports TV technology. 
     Trackus also named MIKE GOLUB as VP/Marketing & Sports
     Development.  Golub was former Dir of Nike Sports &
     Entertainment (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 1/31 issue)....The
     Dodgers named JULIO SARMIENTO as Dir of Media Relations &
     Publicity.  The position had been overseen for the past year
     by BRENT SHYER, who was named Dir of Broadcasting,
     Publications & New Media.  Sarmiento was Assistant Dir of
     Baseball Information & Publicity for the Marlins for the
     past three seasons (Dodgers)....The Mavericks today will
     name former G DEREK HARPER as the team's VP/Business Affairs
     (FT. WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM, 1/30)....The Seahawks named former
     Packers exec TED THOMPSON as the team's new VP/Football
     Operations (SEATTLE P-I, 1/29)....The Mariners named BOB
     ENGLE as Senior Advisor to GM PAT GILLICK.  Engle spent the
     past 24 years with the Blue Jays (SEATTLE P-I, 1/29).
