FACILITY NOTES

          A proposed 23-acre development that would include an
     NHL-sized rink and larger Olympic-sized ice skating facility
     for the NHL Kings and a basketball court for the Lakers will
     be unveiled before the El Sugundo, CA, Planning Commission
     tonight.  The $218M practice facility project would include
     two hotels and office buildings in addition to locker rooms
     and office space for both teams (L.A. TIMES, 3/26)....The
     Ravens have sent out PSL season-ticket seat assignments,
     assigning 51,000 seats to 20,000 customers who bought PSLs. 
     On July 30, the team will hold an open house where ticket
     holders can come and see their seats for the first time
     (Baltimore SUN, 3/26)...In Atlanta, Maria Saporta examines
     construction of the new Atlanta arena, saying it "will have
     a host of features that are above and beyond" its initial
     design.  The facility will be made of Spanish pink granite,
     instead of precast concrete, and will make a "greater use of
     glass throughout" the facility (ATL. CONSTITUTION, 3/26).
     ....The Pontiac Silverdome will build a new "bubble-like"
     addition to serve as the Lions practice facility there.  The
     team also plans to use the bubble, which represents a $1.5M-
     $2M investment on its part, to hold pregame and postgame
     festivities for season ticketholders.  The bubble could be
     completed by September (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 3/26).
