LeBron James Stars In New Verizon Ads Promoting More Data

Verizon today is debuting a campaign "promoting the new features" of its data plans with "ads and video content" featuring LeBron James. The mobile phone provider yesterday said that it is "overhauling its data plans, adding 30% more data." New TV spots, which feature James alongside characters from the Nickelodeon show "Yo Gabba Gabba," were created by Wieden + Kennedy. The effort includes "related content on Facebook and Twitter, among other digital properties" (ADAGE.com, 7/7).
