NBA Finals Game 5 On Pace For Record Secondary Ticket Prices

Tickets for tonight's NBA Finals Cavaliers-Warriors Game 5 in Oakland are on pace to be the most expensive of any NBA game over the past five seasons on the secondary market, according to data from SeatGeek. The average resale price for the potentially series-clinching game is $1,575, topping $1,412 for last year's Finals Game 5. SeatGeek's Nate Rattner said that prices "seem to be dropping after a steep spike following the Warriors' Game 4 win." While the median listing price neared $2,000 and the cheapest ticket available was over $1,000 on Saturday, the get-in price has fallen by nearly 50%. As of 2:30pm ET today, tickets were available for under $600.
