Anheuser-Busch InBev’s sports spend is still the biggest among sponsors, and while its Bud Light remains America’s top-selling beer, U.S. sales are as flat as a bottle opened yesterday. A recent shake-up sees new leadership at the top in North America. ABI has lost 6.5 share points in the U.S. since 2008, and Mexican imports are on fire. It will be interesting to see how ABI defends its flank: The U.S. is its biggest market.
