Azarenka is "unwilling to leave California," where a judge has ruled her 10-month old son, LEO, must stay until his future is decided (BBC, 11/7). ... A Greek court ruled on Wednesday that Greek side Olympiakos Piraeus and League Championship side Nottingham Forrest Owner EVANGELOS MARINAKIS will "face trial on charges of match fixing in Greece." The 50-year-old shipping magnate is the "most prominent among 28 people who will be put on trial on felony charges" following a probe on "suspect Greek football match outcomes." The three-bench Athens Court of Appeal ruling came after a 2-1 majority vote (REUTERS, 11/8). ... Former England int'l UGO EHIOGU will have an award named in his honor at the Football Black List celebration on Wednesday. Ehiogu died in April, aged 44, after suffering a cardiac arrest (BBC, 11/8). ... ANTHONY JOSHUA warned DEONTAY WILDER they will fight on "my terms" after revealing EDDIE HEARN will make an offer to Joshua. Heavyweight Joshua, who defeated CARLOS TAKAM by TKO to retain his titles last month, "insists potential opponents only talk of fighting him without making an official approach." Wilder accused Joshua's promoter, Hearn, of delaying negotiations regarding a potential matchup (PA, 11/8). ... Team New Zealand's PETER BURLING's "heroics" at the America's Cup earned him a second world sailor of the year award. He beat teammate and captain GLENN ASHBY, who was "one of four nominees for the prestigious award" (STUFF, 11/8). ... Australian jockey DYLAN CABOCHE was suspended for two weeks "for punching his mount," SHE'S RENELDASGIRL, in South Australia on Wednesday.
