Super Rugby side Chiefs CEO ANDREW FLEXMAN is "stepping down after four seasons in the job." Flexman's last day with the Chiefs will be Sept. 8. The departure is the "latest in a string of changes," with coach DAVE RENNIE having gone to Pro14 club Glasgow, assistant coach KIERAN KEANE now at Pro14 side Connacht, and "several high-profile players not returning" (STUFF, 8/29). ... McLaren Technology Group appointed MATT DENNINGTON as group director, partner strategy -- working across McLaren Racing and McLaren Applied Technologies. He will report to McLaren Technology Group CMO JOHN ALLERT. Dennington will lead a newly-formed partner strategy and insight team (McLaren). ... Sri Lanka Cricket's selection panel, led by former captain SANATH JAYASURIYA, will reportedly "step down after the current limited overs series against India following the team’s slump in form." The pressure on the panel to resign "intensified" after Sri Lanka was beaten 3-0 in the home test series against India. The five-member panel will stay on "only for the next two ODIs and the sole Twenty20 against India" (REUTERS, 8/29). ... Ligue 2 side Nancy-Lorraine announced Manager PABLO CORREA was suspended from his coaching duties. Club President JACQUES ROUSSELOT said that a replacement will be named soon (Nancy-Lorraine).
