Scottish Premiership side Celtic announced that "more than 50,000 season tickets have been sold" for the '17-18 campaign following its "Treble success," according to Alasdair Mackenzie of the HERALD SCOTLAND. The club "enjoyed a dominant campaign last season," securing three domestic trophies without losing a single match under Manager Brendan Rodgers. Celtic's season will begin in July when its Champions League qualifying campaign begins, as it looks to "advance to the group stages once more" (HERALD SCOTLAND, 6/8). The Scotland DAILY RECORD reported the club "can boast a higher total home league attendance" than any side in the top flights in Italy and France. The 1,054,044 total from Celtic's 19 home Premiership clashes is "better than anything in Serie A or Ligue 1" (DAILY RECORD, 6/8).
