Marketplace Roundup: La Liga, Sportium Extend Sponsorship Agreement

La Liga extended its sponsorship agreement with Sportium, the joint venture between bookmaker Ladbrokes and gaming operator Cirsa. The two-year extension will see Sportium continue as La Liga's official betting partner through the '18-19 season (GAMING INTELLIGENCE, 6/5).

Kenyan Premier League side Ulinzi Stars on Monday signed a shirt sponsorship deal with local betting company Elitebet. The financial details of the contract "were not immediately revealed," but the multi-million Kenyan shilling deal will reportedly "be renewed every six months." Elitebet Kenya Managing Dir Waiyaki Hinga said that the contract is "strictly performance-based" and any renewals would be based on how well the club meets "set targets" (DAILY NATION, 6/5).

The UFC announced a multi-year partnership with General Tire, which will serve as its official tire partner in the Asia-Pacific region. The partnership will begin on June 17. General Tire will obtain rights to branding inside the UFC's Octagon and at experience booths during events. In addition, General Tire will receive promotional spots during live broadcasts as well as being featured across social and digital platforms (UFC).

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games appointed Spieth Gymnastics as its official gymnastics equipment supplier. Spieth Gymnastics will supply all apparatus and podium equipment for use at the training and competition venues (GC2018).
