Madrid City Council To Present Plans For Area Surrounding Atlético's New Stadium

Madrid's City Council said that on Thursday it will "reveal all the details of the urbanization that will be built around Atlético Madrid's new stadium, La Peineta," according to AS. The presentation will take place at 7pm local time in the San Blas district of Madrid. There "is uncertainty among Atlético and its future neighbors because eight months from the stadium becoming the club's home, work on the area surrounding La Peineta has not begun." The city council will "share its plan and the schedule for the work" (AS, 11/15).
