Tarragona, Spain, asked to delay the 2017 Mediterranean Games from '17 to '18, according to Esther Celma of EL PERIÓDICO. The event has been rescheduled from June 30-July 9, 2017 to June 22-July 1, 2018, "taking into account the dense calendar of international competitions."
