Media Notes: SFR Sport 2 To Carry Bourges Basket's Women's Euroleague Games

SFR Sport 2, the official broadcaster of the French National Basketball League and the Coupe de France basketball tournament since ’05, has “reinforced its French basketball offering.” The channel has signed an agreement with women’s basketball side Bourges Basket to “broadcast the club’s home Women’s Euroleague matches.” For away matches, SFR Sport 2 will negotiate separately with each opposing club “in order to offer the maximum amount of games to its viewers” (MEDIA SPORTIF, 11/1).

L’Équipe’s TV channel acquired the rights to two British invitational rugby side Barbarians matches as well as the rights to Japan vs. Argentina. On Saturday, the channel will broadcast Barbarians vs. South Africa at 4:30pm followed by Japan vs. Argentina. On Nov. 11 the channel will rebroadcast the Barbarians’ match against Fiji (L’Équipe).
