NBA Partners With AN Grup To Open First NBA Café In Barcelona

The NBA is opening a restaurant in Spain with the NBA Café Barcelona to open this fall. It is the first NBA Café in Europe and follows the '14 opening of NBA Café Manila. The league is partnering with Spanish restaurant company AN Grup, which will operate the NBA-themed restaurant to feature league memorabilia and NBA merchandise. The development of the restaurant coincides with the NBA sending the Oklahoma City Thunder to play two preseason games in October in Spain as part of the league's Global Games Europe. The Thunder will play Real Madrid on Oct. 3 in Madrid and then Barcelona on Oct. 5 in Barcelona.
