Media Notes: Ten Sports Network Renews I-League Broadcasting Contract

Ten Sports Network "renewed the broadcasting contract of I-League for an additional one year." The broadcaster had the rights for 10 years "since the inception of the league." The "entire rights of India football is with IMG Reliance and the broadcaster’s deal is with the company" (INDIAN TELEVISION, 1/6). ... Arsenal fan Piers Morgan "has been handed a platform to air his opinions on the club and current manager Arsène Wenger after he was handed a role alongside Ian Wright on BBC Radio 5 Live." The pair "will team up for Sunday's 6pm show to review the weekend's FA Cup third round action on the 606 phone-in show." Morgan "will stand in for regular presenter Kelly Cates for one week only" (London TELEGRAPH, 1/6). ... Soccerex announced a new media partnership with Chinese sports marketing platform Yutang Sports, which will see Yutang translate and publish SoccerexPro Daily content, making it easily accessible for the growing Chinese football market (Soccerex).
