MP & Silva also named former Major League Soccer and SUM Senior Dir of Partnership Marketing ALFONSO ALANIS-CUE VP/business strategy. Both new hires will work out of the N.Y. office (THE DAILY). ... Great White Shark Enterprises named former Sony America Manager of Brand Marketing ALI OSIECKI VP/marketing (GWSE). ... League Two club Cambridge United announced the appointment of SHAUN DERRY as its new manager. Derry was previously in charge of his hometown club Notts County and helped keep it in League One in his first season, "only to be sacked in March." Former Cambridge United Manager RICHARD MONEY was sacked on Nov. 2 after winning just five of his 16 league games in charge this season (SKY SPORTS, 11/12). ... Top 14 rugby side Oyonnax released its head coach OLIVIER AZAM Thursday, “effective immediately.” The decision is a “consequence of the club’s poor start to the season.” Azam replaced CHRISTOPHE URIOS, who left Oyonnax for Castres (LE FIGARO, 11/12).
