Marketplace Roundup: European Tour, Turkish Airlines Extend Partnership Through '18

The European Tour will continue to compete in Turkey after the tour "announced a new three-year agreement that will extend the Turkish Airlines Open" through '18. The event, which debuted in '13, has been part of the tour's Final Series in the season-long Race to Dubai, "and the tournament will continue to remain in the four-event year-end series" (GOLF WEEK, 10/28). ... U.S. Città di Palermo and online Forex trading company InstaForex announced a two-year partnership finalized by Infront Sports & Media. InstaForex will become the club's official global forex and binary options partner and will receive a range of benefits including TV-relevant LED visibility, tickets and hospitality at the Stadio Renzo Barbera (InFront). ... Man City announced EZ Shopnet as the club's new online retail partner for Asia Pacific. It will run the five official Man City online stores in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and South East Asia (Man City). ...The Rugby Football League expanded its relationship with First Utility by confirming it as an official partner of the 2015 Int'l Series. The Warwick-based company is the title sponsor of the First Utility Super League and after two years the company added the Int'l Series to its portfolio. The three-game series, which starts on Sunday, will see England take on New Zealand in games all over the U.K. (RFL). ... Barcelona and Chang announced the renewal of their sponsorship agreement for the next three years. Chang is a regional partner of the club in Thailand, where the company is based, and 10 other countries in the Southeast Asia market. This agreement, managed by the club's office in Hong Kong, includes, among other things, image and association rights, corporate hospitality, digital assets and promotional rights (Barcelona).
