French Chamber of Commerce Signs Agreement With Euro 2016 Organizers

The French Chamber of Commerce, CCI France, has signed an agreement with the organizers of the upcoming Euro 2016 in the country "that will see business opportunities promoted across France next summer," according to SOCCEREX. The tournament "is expected to attract 1.5 million foreign visitors to France." The framework of the agreement is based on three key areas: "promoting the tournament in France and abroad and educating French companies on the potential business opportunities; inspiring every level of the French tourism chain to 'improve the quality of the welcome'; promoting French businesses to foreign investors before and during the tournament." CCI France is anticipating €2.8B ($3.1B) "in economic impact from the tournament" (SOCCEREX, 10/29).
