Leaders: Omnigon Reaches Deal To Collaborate With Infront Sports & Media

Digital media consultancy Omnigon has struck a broad-based strategic partnership with Infront Sports & Media, a prominent Swiss-based sports marketing company. In the deal, the pair will collaborate on joint projects, particularly internationally, and offer a combined solution to sports rightsholders and other clients. The deal was announced on Wednesday at the Leaders Sport Business Summit in London. Infront clients have included FIFA and the IIHF, among many others, while Omnigon has worked with a broad array of properties, events and media networks including NASCAR, the PGA Tour, Fox Sports and the Rugby World Cup. "With this strategic partnership, we further drive digital progress in the sports business industry," said Infront President & CEO Philippe Blatter. "Sports consumption these days is marked by an increasing convergence between the actual event and digital experience -- which opens up new ways of content marketing and fan engagement. Omnigon will complement our service portfolio and digital capabilities with strong technical and creative skills."
