Deltatre appointed INGO LALLA as commercial director, taking on lead commercial responsibility for the German speaking markets as well as the Middle East. Currently in Dubai, Lalla will relocate to the deltatre facility in Munich in January. Ingo arrives at deltatre from Limelight Networks, where he most recently served as regional director for the Middle East and North Africa. Lalla also worked as a sales exec on large-scale digital projects in various industries, notably in TV, desktop and mobile media distribution for sport organizations and telecoms (Deltatre). ... STEVEN PRESSLEY agreed to a deal to become League One side Fleetwood Town's new manager -- "and his first full game in charge will be against former employers Coventry City." The Cod Army "sacked GRAHAM ALEXANDER last week after three straight defeats" (London DAILY MAIL,10/6). ... Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly "sacked coach FATHI MABROUK," after the club failed to win a major trophy for the first time since the '03-04 season. Dir of Football ALAA ABDEL-SALEK was "also dismissed following a board meeting Monday." Former player ABDEL AZIZ ABDEL SHAFI -- "known as ZIZO -- has been drafted in as caretaker for the second time" (BBC, 10/6). ... The Women's Tennis Association "has named STEVE SIMON as its new chief exec." He "was previously the tournament director of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells." He will replace STACEY ALLASTER, who said last month that "she was standing down after six years in charge." Simon will "begin his duties immediately" (BBC, 10/6). ... Former Georgian int'l LEVAN KOBIASHVILI has been elected as president of the Georgian Football Federation at the association's congress in Tbilisi. Kobiashvili won 100 caps for Georgia between '96 and '11, and was his country's footballer of the year on two occasions, in '00 and '05 (UEFA). ... The Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV) on Tuesday named JULIA CASANUEVA its president. She had previously served as president of the Cantabria region's sailing federation (AS, 10/6). ... League Two side Notts County named JULIAN WINTER its new CEO. Winter takes over from AILEEN TREW, who resigned as Notts County CEO on Aug. 28. Winter has previous CEO experience with EPL side Watford and from two spells in the same role at League One club Sheffield United (Notts County).
