Former London Independent on Sunday Editor JOHN MULLIN "has joined" the London Telegraph "as the new head of sports news," following the departure of HENRY WINTER to the London Times. The Independent’s football correspondent, SAM WALLACE, "has also joined the sports desk at Telegraph Media Group as chief football writer" (SPORT INDUSTRY, 8/11). ... Repucom has appointed JAN LEHMANN as co-managing director of Repucom Deutschland GmbH. Lehmann is joining STEPHAN SCHRÖDER in an expanded management structure starting Sept. 1 (Repucom). ... FRANÇOIS CARRARD has been appointed as the independent chairman of the 2016 FIFA Reform Committee. As director general of the IOC, Carrard guided it through its own governance reforms in the wake of the bidding process for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in '02. His appointment followed consultation with the six football confederations, each of which have appointed two representatives to the 2016 FIFA Reform Committee (FIFA).
