Marketplace Roundup: Hertha Berlin Confirm Shirt Deal With Bet-At-Home

Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin confirmed Bet-at-home "as its new shirt and main sponsor." Bet-at-home and Hertha "agreed to a three-year deal" with a reported value of €5.6M ($6.1M) annually (SPONSORs, 8/6). ... Bundesliga club FC Augsburg has signed a new sponsorship deal with Grünbeck Wasseraufbereitung. The company will receive add space in camera view along with other promotional events. The initial two-year deal was brokered by Sportfive (FC Augsburg). ... Bundesliga side FC Ingolstadt has renewed its partnership with online tool store Werkzeugstore24. The company is looking to become a longterm partner of the club (FC Ingolstadt). ... Second Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf has agreed to a new partnership with H-Hotels for the '15-16 season. In addition, the Metro Group has extended its deal with the club. Both companies will receive extensive marketing rights, including ad space in camera view at home games (Fortuna Dusseldorf). ... EPL side Stoke City agreed to a deal with Hood Group as the club's new official platinum partner. Asda Home Insurance branding will appear on the club's new 38-seat dugout, which will be unveiled on Sunday when City launches its '15-16 Premier League campaign against Liverpool live on Sky Sports. Asda Home Insurance will also be featured prominently on the two banks of LED perimeter advertising boards throughout home games (Stoke City). ... EPL club Bournemouth has "signed a sponsorship deal" with U.S.-based supplements company Usana Health Sciences. Usana Health Sciences "will become the team's official nutritional supplement and official multivitamin and will provide Bournemouth players with product." Contractual details "have not been released" (SOCCEREX, 8/6). ... South African Premier Soccer League club Mpumalanga Black Aces has agreed to a "new kit supply deal with New Zealand-based sportswear manufacturer Canterbury Clothing Company." Canterbury "will act as the Black Aces' official technical partner, providing their teams across all levels, including the youth divison, with training and playing kit for the next three years." The deal is Canterbury's first move into club football in the country (SOCCEREX, 8/6). ... Japan Airlines has become a global partner and the official airline of FIBA. As global partner, JAL will have comprehensive marketing rights across all of FIBA's competitions -- men's, women's, youth, both at world and regional levels -- right through to the end of '16 (FIBA).
