Spanish Basketball League (ACB) club Estudiantes named DIEGO OCAMPO its new coach. Ocampo, who signed a one-year deal, replaces TXUS VIDORRETA (MARCA, 7/14). ... Former England Manager FABIO CAPELLO has left his role as Russia head coach after three years in the post. The 69-year-old signed a four-year contract extension in '14 to keep him under contract until the 2018 World Cup, which will be staged in Russia. But the Italian's deal "has been ended after a run of poor results" (BBC, 7/14). ... The Canadian Football League Toronto Argonauts named league President & COO MICHAEL COPELAND President & CEO, effective when Bell Canada and Kilmer Group "assume ownership of the Argos at the end of this year." Meanwhile, Argos Exec Chair & CEO CHRIS RUDGE "will leave the team" when his contract expires at the end of '15 (CP, 7/13).
