Marketplace Roundup: German Ski Federation Teams Up With König Ludwig Schloßbrauerei

The German Ski Federation (DSV) agreed to a new sponsorship with beer producer König Ludwig Schloßbrauerei to become an official partner of the German national ski team (DSV). ... Bundesliga side Hamburg SV signed a new partnership with health insurance provider Hanseatische Krankenkasse to become the club's official health partner starting with the '15-16 season. The two parties signed a three-year deal through the end of the '17-18 season (Hamburg SV). ... Sports rights agency Sportfive has entered a cooperation with private university Hochschule Macromedia. The goal of the cooperation is to support students in their career development and practical training (Sportfive). ... Brazilian operator Telefonica Vivo, through the Vivo brand, "has renewed its contract with the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) for the sponsorship of the Brazilian national football team." Effective until Jan. '23, the partnership "includes support for male and female Brazilian teams" (TELECOM PAPER, 1/12). ... Super League rugby side Wigan Warriors introduced CWM FX as a new official club partner in a deal which will see the club's headquarters renamed CWM FX Central Park. As part of the four-year deal CWM FX will be a sponsor on all home and away shirts. The CWM FX logo will also be featured across the players' training and warm-up apparel (Wigan Warriors). ... FC Barcelona and Castle Lager announced they are adding Kenya and Nigeria to their current agreement signed in '13. The three-year partnership places Castle Lager as the official beer of FC Barcelona across the majority of the African continent except in certain areas where Castle Milk Stout is the official African stout of the La Liga side (FC Barcelona).
