More Than 5 Million Viewers Tune In To Watch Final Four Hills Tournament Event On ZDF

German public broadcaster ZDF "recorded well above 5 million viewers for its broadcast of the final Four Hills Tournament event on Tuesday," according to Manuel Nunez Sanchez of QUOTENMETER. The final event from Bischofshofen, Austria attracted an average of 5.31 million viewers starting at 4:30pm. The number translated into a market share of 27.8%. In the target demographic 14-49, the ski jumping event obtained a market share of 16.8% as 940,000 viewers tuned in. The most watched event of the '14-15 Four Hills Tournament was the second event on New Year's Day in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which was watched by a little more than 6 million viewers. Prior to the event from Bischofshofen, ZDF aired a men's slalom World Cup race. The event attracted 2.13 million viewers starting at 3pm. The World Cup race had a market share of 13.4% along with 7.1% in the target demographic. The highlights of the women's Tour de Ski event was watched by 2.21 million viewers and obtained market shares of 16.3% and 8.6%, respectively. The men's highlights had market shares of 19.9% and 10.8% as 2.75 million viewers tuned in (QUOTENMETER, 1/7).
