Premier League Wins Legal Battle Against Online Streaming Service Wiziwig

The Premier League has "won a long legal battle to close online streaming site Wiziwig," according to Ben Burrows of the London DAILY MIRROR. The website was one of the world's leading streaming services "providing illegal access to thousands of games each week." That was until the Premier League, alongside other sports rights holders, "stepped in to close the site down" on Jan. 1. NetNamesCommercial Operations Dir Stuart Fuller said, "This case highlights the difficulty faced by the Premier League, which has a constant battle to constantly remove the many streaming websites shared among football fans" (DAILY MIRROR, 1/6).
