Media Notes: U.S. Network GolTV Secures Broadcast Deals With Benfica, Everton

U.S. football network GolTV has secured broadcast rights to all home matches of Portuguese side Benfica and has signed a new deal to broadcast Everton TV. As part of the two-year Benfica deal, GolTV will broadcast matches played at the club's Estadio da Luz stadium in Lisbon, Portugal. The new Everton TV contract features a three-hour programming time-block that includes a pregame segment, a match featuring Everton and a postgame show (GolTV). ... Pan-European sports broadcaster Eurosport has acquired the live TV and digital rights of the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 as part of a package of nine FIFA competitions held over '15 and '16. The deal signed with FIFA also includes full rights to the men's and women's FIFA U17 and U20 World Cups, as well as the FIFA Beach Football World Cup, FIFA Futsal World Cup and Blue Stars/FIFA Youth Cup. Every tournament will be broadcast across all Eurosport's European territories (Eurosport).
