Media Notes: Norwegian Broadcaster TV2 Agrees To Two-Year Deal Carrying NBA

Norwegian broadcaster TV2 has agreed to a two-year deal for the broadcasting rights to the NBA. TV2 will provide coverage of more than 50 live NBA games per season across its multiple channels (TV2). ... BeIN Sports confirmed that it will launch a Champions Leagues multiplex, "which is the first of its kind," on Nov. 25 that will air every Tuesday and Wednesday. Modeled on the device that the TV network already offers for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, this multiplex will be available from 8:45pm local time on beIN Sports 2 while the games will still be broadcast in full on beIN Sports 1 and beIN Sports’ Max channels (L’EQUIPE, 11/17).
