Second Bundesliga Side Erzgebirge Aue Unveils First Rendering Of New Stadium

Second Bundesliga side Erzgebirge Aue "has unveiled a first rendering of its proposed new stadium," according to Sören Fiedler of BILD. The rendering "was released on Monday morning." The new stadium will have a reported price tag of €17.3M ($21.6M). Construction "is scheduled to start in October." The rendering "incorporates the current stadium's floodlights, which will remain untouched, along with the south stand that remains under protection until at least '35." The two stands behind each goal as well as the main stand "will be new constructions." The rendering "is a first design concept and subject to change" (BILD, 11/10).
