Former Sweden striker HENRIK LARSSON has stepped down as coach of Swedish side Falkenberg to "take charge of Helsingborg, the club where he made his name as a player." Larsson was presented as manager on Monday. Former manager ROAR HANSEN has been named as the club's strategic football advisor (REUTERS, 11/10). ... Special Olympics Nigeria has appointed NAOMI SALIU LAWAL as its new national director. This follows the departure of its former national director, FOLASHADE BOLUMOLE. Lawal is joining the organization “after a 12 year stint in the Nigerian and British financial sectors.” She became the Head of Client services for Guaranty Trust Bank United Kingdom before her new appointment (VANGUARD, 11/9).
