Marketplace Roundup: WorldTour Cycling Team Katusha Partners With Sports Brand One Way

Russian WorldTour cyling team Katusha announced its partnership with Finnish nordic sports brand One Way, which will provide the team with all high-performance cycling apparel as well as casual clothing, eyewear, bag collection and other equipment (Katusha Team). ... Titleist will continue to support the DP World Tour Championship. This will mark the six straight year of the sponsorship. The supplier will run a Titleist 915 Long Drive Contest as part of the free golf lesson initiative supported by the Emirates Golf Federation and the R&A (European Tour). ... Hockey India named National Aluminum Company Ltd. an associate sponsor for the upcoming Hero Hockey Champions Trophy 2014 (Hockey India). ... The Zimbabwe Rugby Union is set to strike a sponsorship deal with DHL International for its grassroots development programs and the forthcoming CAR Sevens Men’s tournament to be hosted in the country at the end of the month (ZRU). ... National Rugby League side South Sydney Rabbitohs announced that air conditioning brand Fujitsu General has extended its corporate partnership with the Rabbitohs for the next four years, and has upgraded its commitment to become the club’s co-major away corporate partner from the start of the '15 season (Rabbitohs). ... Sony Mobile has been announced as the new technology sponsor for Irish Rugby in a three-year deal (Irish Rugby). ... The Adelaide Football Club signed a long-term partnership with sports apparel company BLK. The apparel brand is teaming with the Crows until at least the end of the '18 season, supplying both the Australian Football League and South Australian National Football League teams, administration and support staff, with apparel. BLK will produce the players’ playing and training gear, including Adelaide’s traditional tri-color jumper (Crows). ... Serie A club Parma has agreed to "a short-term shirt sponsorship deal with Piazza Italia." The fashion retailer’s logo "will appear on the back of the team’s shirts, near the players’ numbers, for the next few Serie A games" (SOCCEREX, 11/3). ... Telecom Orange renewed its title as “Official Partner” of Top 14 Rugby side ASM Clermont Auvergne for the next three years. Orange has been an official partner of the French Rugby Federation (FFR) and France XV since ‘99, but is also a major partner of the National Rugby League (LNR), 12 Top 14 clubs and most of the clubs in Pro D2 (ASM Clermont Auvergne).
