Marketplace Roundup: Man City Signs Deal With Malaysian Grooming Brand Dashing

Man City signed a new club partnership with Malaysian male grooming brand Dashing. As part of the two-year deal, Dashing will become City’s official personal male care partner in Malaysia. Dashing has acquired wide-ranging licensing rights to use the club crest and player imagery in national TV marketing and social media campaigns (Man City). ... ManU has extended its partnership with Japanese social gaming partner gloops. The company has seen nearly 1.4 million downloads of its ManU-titled game "European Club Team Soccer Best Eleven Plus" since the partnership started just over a year ago (ManU). ... Bundesliga club SC Paderborn has "signed a new corporate partnership" with tire manufacturer Apollo Vredestein. The company’s logos "have already begun appearing on the rotating advertising boards at the club’s home stadium, the 15,300-capacity Benteler Arena." Hospitality and positioning on interview sponsor logo backboards "are also included in the agreement." No financial details "were available" (SOCCEREX, 9/24). ... National Rugby League side Wests Tigers said that Brydens Lawyers have increased their commitment to the club for the coming two seasons. The new agreement will see Brydens Lawyers featured on the front of Wests Tigers’ playing strip in the manufacturer’s mark position for the '15 and '16 seasons (Wests Tigers).
