Bradshaw To Miss Super Bowl Telecasts; Goodell Chats With Fox News

Fox NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw will not appear on the net's pre- or postgame Super Bowl telecasts due to the death of his father. Bradshaw is in Louisiana with his family. Michael Strahan, who was originally assigned to Fox' Super Bowl Red Carpet coverage, will assume Bradshaw's position on the pregame show and handle the net's postgame trophy presentation coverage (Fox Sports).

Meanwhile, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was among several football-related guests on Sunday's news shows, with an interview on "Fox News Sunday" at 2:00pm ET. Goodell said of the week leading up to today's game, "The events have been off the charts. The energy is tremendous, and I think this is another level that the Super Bowl has gone to. That’s great for the NFL and I think it’s great for this region." Elsewhere around the dial, Tony Dungy and The N.Y. Times' Alan Schwarz appeared on NBC’s “Meet The Press” to discuss the NFL concussion lawsuit (THE DAILY).
