Clark County (Nev.) officials today are "expected to consider zoning permits" for the Raiders' proposed Las Vegas stadium. The FAA has determined that the stadium "would not be a hazard to aircraft," a decision that "clears the way for officials" to consider the permits (AP, 9/5). 

Tee times for the Padres and Callaway Golf's "original nine-hole golf experience" at Petco Park go on sale at 2:00pm PT today. The event, the "third iteration of The Links at Petco Park," will run from Oct. 5-10 (SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 9/6). 

A report based around Project Play is set to be released today from the Aspen Institute and Under Armour on ways to help Baltimore "urban youths stay fit and engaged" (Baltimore SUN, 9/6). This comes amid a "serious drop" in youth sports participation numbers over the last several years.
