The Cavaliers celebrated their '16 NBA title last night with a pregame ceremony in which the championship banner was raised and the team received their rings. The ring is encrusted with more than 400 diamonds, with a one-carat diamond adorning the top of the Larry O’Brien Trophy. It features the phrase “World Champions” and the team's “C” logo in a custom cut garnet. This is the heaviest NBA Championship ring ever made. NBA Commissioner

The vibe inside Quicken Loans Arena was "special," and "a weight had been lifted." The Cavaliers "executed the festivities in similar fashion to their on-court play during the final three games of the NBA Finals: brilliantly" (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 10/26).
