Wisconsin, Under Armour Agree To Terms On 10-Year Apparel Deal

The Univ. of Wisconsin "has agreed to terms of a proposed 10-year contract between the school and Under Armour," providing shoes and apparel to UW's 23 sports teams. The Board of Regents is expected to vote on the matter today. UW would join Michigan in "dropping Adidas AG this year," and it would become UA's third Big Ten school (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 10/9).

Meanwhile, UA at its Baltimore HQ today is hosting the Future Show Innovation Challenge, in which entries "aim to wed sports and technology in unique ways." The winner, to be announced today, "will get up to $50,000 and a opportunity to work" with UA (Baltimore SUN, 10/9).
