Navajo Nation President In Snyder's Suite At Redskins-Cardinals

Outgoing Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly and his wife Martha sat with Redskins Owner Dan Snyder in a suite during yesterday's game against the Cardinals at Univ. of Phoenix Stadium. Shelly during the summer said that "he believes the Redskins' nickname is offensive." Starting about three hours prior to the game, about 75 people took part in protest outside the venue, with signs reading "Game over for racism" and "Snyder can't buy my support" (WASHINGTON TIMES, 10/13).
