Knicks G Raymond Felton was questioned by police early this morning “after allegedly pointing a gun” at his girlfriend. Felton has been charged with “criminal possession of a weapon in the second, third and fourth degrees” (NYPOST.com, 2/25).

The CIAA basketball tournament begins today at Time Warner Cable Arena. The conference is in the last year of a contract to “keep its tournament in Charlotte, and the city is hoping to extend the CIAA’s nine-year run” (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 2/25).

The Big Ten announced that its men’s basketball tournament March 13-16 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse “is officially sold out.” The tournament sold out in Chicago last year (INDYSTAR.com, 2/24).

The Richmond City Council last night voted 6-3 to “press ahead with the plan for a baseball stadium in Shockoe Bottom.” The vote was “not the final step, but it was the first major test for the development plan unveiled” by Mayor Dwight Jones last year (RICHMOND TIMES-DISPATCH, 2/25).
