MLB Names BBDO Its Creative Partner For "Jewel Event" Games

MLB named BBDO, N.Y., its "multimedia creative agency partner for all brand and 'Jewel Event' games," which consist of Opening Day, the All-Star Game and the playoffs. Hill Holiday, Boston, will "continue to handle the MLB Fan Cave account." The league "approached BBDO for the business." MLB Exec VP/Business Tim Brosnan said he expects the firm to create "innovative ways for fans to connect with MLB" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/19).
