Syracuse Univ. has sold out its allotment of 3,250 game tickets "plus its 700 student tickets" for Saturday's Final Four game against Michigan at the Georgia Dome. A vendor working under contract with SU "sold out of an additional 750 game tickets that required purchase of an Atlanta hotel room package" (SYRACUSE.com, 4/3).

The NFLPA yesterday sent an e-mail to player agents "asking them to report any improper dealings with NFL teams" (ESPNDALLAS.com, 4/3).

Boston Univ. this week announced that it will "cease to sponsor a varsity wrestling team" after the '13-14 season. BU AD Mike Lynch said that the program "will not be brought back, even if money is raised" (BOSTONGLOBE.com, 4/3).

Tickets for the June 11 U.S.-Panama FIFA World Cup qualifier at CenturyLink Field went on sale Tuesday morning. A U.S. Soccer spokesperson said that in the first 24 hours, "ticket sales were about 27,000" (SEATTLETIMES.com, 4/3).

Centerplate today announced that it has completed it acquisition of The Lindley Group, which provides hospitality and concessions at many U.K. sports facilities (Centerplate).
