Sporting KC To Announce First Jersey Sponsorship In Club History

MLS Sporting KC is "expected to announce an investment firm called Ivy Funds as its first jersey sponsor" during today's MLS SuperDraft (K.C. STAR, 1/16). According to a source, the deal is expected to be a five-year agreement. In October, the club said the valuation of a deal for sponsorship of its jersey was $2.5M annually. Financial data for the deal was not available and is not expected to be announced (Christopher Botta, SportsBusiness Journal).
