Nike To Formally Introduce Rory McIlroy As "Face Of Nike Golf"

Rory McIlroy today will be formally unveiled as "the face of Nike Golf" in a tie-in reportedly worth $250M over 10 years, making McIlroy the "highest-earning golfer after Tiger Woods." At age 23 and ranked No. 1 in the world, McIlroy is "Nike's investment in the future" (London INDEPENDENT, 1/14). McIlroy will "start sporting the famous swoosh this week when he and Woods make their season debuts Thursday in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship" (USA TODAY, 1/14).
