NFL Panthers' AT&T Partnership Provides In-Stadium Wi-Fi Access

The NFL Panthers revealed further details of their partnership with AT&T, through which the telecom company has installed more than 460 Wi-Fi access points at Bank of America Stadium. Fans with Wi-Fi-enabled devices will have "free Internet access from the concourse, concession stands or seats." Users with AT&T devices "can access the service with no set up or log in, and usage will not count toward monthly data plans." Other devices "can connect through a log-in process" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/7).

The team "had a soft rollout" of the system  during the Tim McGraw/Kenny Chesney concert this summer (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 7/16 issue).
