ESPN To Unveil Several New Shows At Today's Upfront Presentation

ESPN is expected to make several programming announcements at its upfront presentation at the Best Buy Theater in N.Y. this morning. It is expected to officially announce a new lineup on ESPN2, including "Dan Le Batard is Highly Questionable." Another planned ESPN2 afternoon show called "Numbers Don't Lie" will give historical and statistical perspective to sports stories of the day. ESPN also plans to announce new "30 for 30" documentary subjects that will be ready in the fall. In addition, the net will announce a new digital series called "Kenny Mayne's Wider World of Sports," which also is planned to launch in the fall.

ESPN Deportes will make several announcements at the event, including the pick-up of the Spanish-language rights to the XVI Pan American Games to be held in Guadalajara from Oct. 14-30. ESPN officials also said that they are prepared to talk about the upcoming "MNF" season and potential labor issues surrounding it.

The upfront event usually brings well-known athletes to N.Y. This year, Packers LB Clay Matthews is expected to make a guest appearance during the presentation. ESPN on-air personalities Michelle Beadle and Scott Van Pelt will host the event.

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft
