EA Sports' "Fight Night Champion" Features ESPN Branding, Talent

EA Sports' "Fight Night Champion" boxing video game launches worldwide today for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and the latest installment of the franchise prominently features ESPN branding. "Friday Night Fights" commentators Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore call bouts in Simulation Mode, complete with ESPN broadcast graphics. The new single-player Champion Mode is narrated by ESPN's Brian Kenny.

EA Sports also has a cross-promotion with Nike around the game. A limited number of special edition Fight Night Champion Huarache Low sneakers featuring the EA Sports logo on the tongue will become available at retail starting April 15. Boxer Manny Pacquiao, who appears as a digital character in the video game, is depicted posing with the shoes on the game's official website (THE DAILY).
