The fifth annual MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference begins today in Boston, bringing together a sellout crowd of more than 1,500 execs active in analytics and sports technology/research. Scheduled speakers include Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban, author Malcom Gladwell, ESPN.com columnist Bill Simmons, MLBAM President & CEO Bob Bowman, SB Nation baseball editor Rob Neyer, Octagon President Phil de Picciotto and Padres Owner Jeff Moorad, among others.
